    Thanks Edwin I really enjoyed the thoughts you shared from Ralph Walker. I had never looked at it that Jesus was about to “get off” in this trial, but I believe Ralph is correct in his assessment. The bible speaks about Jesus saying that His time was not come, but undoubtedly Jesus new that this WAS his time and therefore he condemned himself by speaking his words.

      Absolutely, Ed. And it demonstrates His amazing love. He went because He was committed to saving us, not because things got out of His control.
