I would like to praise God for giving me some success today in putting up advertisements for a Correspondence Course. I asked that He help me in it. I had a goal of putting up THREE posters around town at some of the local businesses…and I hit that goal on my FOURTH stop! Y'all can rejoice with me and pray for that effort.

He has allowed me to be … born in America …. even in the South (Bible belt)…..in the most beautiul state ….. in a Christian family …. wonderful parents …. good health, eye sight, hearing, able to get around …. provided above & beyond my NEEDS … good home, good job, ability to retire….great husband and daughter …. ability to travel & experience His creation ….provided my Christian family …. His word …. Salvation …. I could go on & on

I am thankful to be a child of God and to have a husband that is as well. I am also thankful for my spiritual family and to be pregnant. There are so many things to be thankful for, but these are among the greatest for me!

Hey Jamie, thanks for joining us here. It is tough to praise God for the hard times, but like you said, those are often the times that actually help us out the most. I think about Paul and his thorn in the flesh.

I thank the Lord each and every day for the gifts of my children and the blessing of having such wonderful Christians in my life for encouragement, but what about the trials? Very seldom have I thanked God for all of those tough times and difficult choices. It is for those experiences that I am truly grateful. The opportunities to see what we are truly made of. To be shown where we need improvement. Most importantly, a chance to show our complete trust and faith to go to Him in our greatest time of need.

I have so many reasons to praise God for what He has done for me. He has given me salvation, and that in itself is enough. However, additionally, he has blessed me with an awesome companion who loves me even when I'm not very lovable. What a blessing! My children are another reason for me to praise God. Each one brings me unmeasurable joy in this life. I am truly blessed… I could go on and on counting my blessings, but I'll stop at my top 3. Thanks for helping me to stop and take a moment to consider what God has done for me.

We are not guaranteed children in this life, yet man has always considered them one of life's greatest joys. I love so many aspects of life on this earth through the blessings of God, but just about all fail to even come close to the richness I have in my children. As pointed out, Elizabeth was overjoyed to have a child, and so I guess I could say so doubly so. There are many other great things God has done, but one that certainly causes me to praise Him daily is my children.
